Klein & Company Raises over $6,000 for WEN!
Linda Klein has been a long-time supporter of the Women’s Employment Network of Kansas City, hosting an annual fund-raiser for WEN for the past five years.
This year, Linda decided to see if she could expand her efforts to raise funds for this very-worthy organization. For a one-week time period and via the WEN website, Linda offered to double any contribution to the group, up to $3,000.
The results were as surprising as they were welcome. Colleagues, friends, and WEN supporters took advantage of this opportunity to generously donate to this campaign. The bottom line: $3,075 was donated and WEN will receive $3,075 from Klein & Company, for a total of $6,150 raised in just five days!
A special thanks to Amie Hankel for her assistance in setting up the eblast and link to the WEN website.
Thanks to everyone who contributed!

Women's Employment Network Fundraiser
Klein & Company's 7th annual fund-raising event for the Women's Employment Network (WEN) raised $2,200 this year! We are very grateful to our generous donors. You know who you are, so thank you!! We also collected and donated some very nice business clothing and accessories for WEN's clothing bank. The event was held at Linda's house on October 6th. We were honored to have WEN graduate, Carmen, speak to us about her experience with WEN and how it helped her define her goals and get her on the path to achieving them.
